    Hisense Smart TV 'Bricked'?

anyways... I don't know. I read thru the hisense updating procedure... it seems similar to other sets. Basically, turn the set on, plug the usb with a "proper firmware load / format" into usb 1. the set will detect the load and ask questions accordingly... of course, you have to have some...

    Hisense Smart TV 'Bricked'?

:-( again, my read is you need to use the 2.0 ports (white). I suspect that using the 3.0 isn't / wasn't a good idea. Related to that, what type of usb did you use? Anyways, I hope you can get thru it.... otherwise hopefully the manufacturer will help out.

    Hisense Smart TV 'Bricked'?

:-( couple of questions.... which usb port did you use? Second, you first post of the TV shows a picture, get rid of that signal (unplug whatever that is showing / using), with no signal in, your set should go into standby.

    Hisense Smart TV 'Bricked'?

well... my "read" is this To turn your TV on or off : 1. Plug the AC power cord into a socket outlet of AC power supply. 2. When the TV is powered on, press the [ ] button on the remote control, it goes into standby mode. Press the [ ] button again to turn on your TV. NOTES When your TV...

    Hisense Smart TV 'Bricked'?

Have you read your manual on how to get the set to standby. For most, the setup needs to be just plugged in and not powered up. The other "mode" would be going from powered on / viewing, the power off via remote or button. Of course, in my brief read on this set, a question would be what...

Older Plasma TV not cooperating with newer Technology

set the display on the dvd player to 720p output. that should force any plasma to work... would have been nice IF you actually would have put some equipment information in your post... would save a lot of guessing... and you might actually get a better answer than "buy another tv"... "buy...

Fixing my boyfriend 48 inch lg tv

Your likely issue is with the backlighting since you can see a picture with the flashlight. IF you are lucky, it could be the inverter board / power board which can be readily replaced / fixed. IF you are unlucky, it may be the backlight itself. Since you have provided NO information about...

Outdoor antenna, two HD tvs-one works great, other missing channels

move both sets to before the splitter so that only one set is directly connected to the antenna. Rescan with that set. Then do the same for the other set. This test rules out any cabling and other issue. If the channel count isn't the same, then perhaps the tuner on the set that has lower...

Sharp tv only turns on manual reset

potentially, you have lost a LED in the bottom corner of the screen which is causing the overall backlighting to shut down and thus stopping the set from turning on normally. The method that you are using circumvents this "temporarily" (ie. until the next power off / on). Anyways, unless you...

Would connecting my roku tv/ps4 to a range extendeer give me better streaming/downloads?

extenders are usually for doing what they are called... extending. However, that doesn't mean that the thruput will be good as depending on the system, the thruput is usually decreased from a normal connection if that connection could be made. As suggested, check to see that your issue isn't...

    Mitsubishi WS-65819 convergence problem

pretty far down in the "DIY mode"... :-) I would suggest going to badcaps.net forum for "DIY tv" repair stuff where you get your elbows dirty. Some good technical guys are there. Having said that, RPTV's are somewhat dated so you might have a problem getting a response, timely or otherwise...

Tablet to TV connection via HDMI

I have the micro hdmi adapters to be "less than good". One that used broke with very little force on the connector. I replaced it with a normal cables micro hdmi to hdmi cable. It is better although the "micro" portion is still finicky.
